Over that same period also down clocked my CPU-didn't help also adjusted VCORE up some, thought it helped but it didn't. The next few days was trying various settings with power and fan profiles to attempt to get rid of the black screens- always had moments when I thought i fixed it but they randomly returned. Hey beta 8! - this helped some, but still black screens.įlashed to the ASUS bios and used GPU tweak (turned off overdrive)- I thought I had the magic bullet with the new custom profile setup yes! Nope random black screen lockups. Next up tried out the uber mode- set the fan at max and let her rip- could play longer it seemed, but eventually would black screen. Much better performance but still black screen. Heard to use the beta drivers, so I switched to them. Uninstalled that Raptr program- seemed to do something as my graphical corruption went away.- still black screened. Graphical corruption and black screen crash very fast. When i first got the card, I ran it stock quiet mode with whatever driver was on the cd.
Here is the list of things I have tried some initially had success, but ultimately the issue reared it's head again and again. Well mine only black screens when the card is getting a workout.
